The Sweet Potato Pie Kids gather each Monday evening to grow as musicians and performers. Rehearsals focus on more than individual instruments. Tthey learn to play as a bluegrass ensemble, sing and harmonize, develop stage presence, and build confidence, teamwork, and leadership. As ambassadors for the Young Appalachian Musicians (YAM) Program, these talented students proudly share the traditions of Southern Appalachian music while inspiring others through their performances.
