The Winter Bluegrass Jubilee is a celebration of bluegrass, old-time, and traditional Appalachian music that brings musicians, families, students, and music lovers together for a day filled with live performances, workshops, jam sessions, and opportunities to connect with the rich musical traditions of our region. Held each year in Pickens, South Carolina, the Jubilee showcases talented professional and regional musicians alongside the young musicians of Young Appalachian Musicians (YAM), giving students the opportunity to share the music they have worked so hard to learn. More than just a music festival, the Jubilee is a gathering of the community and a celebration of the past, present, and future of Southern Appalachian music. Proceeds from the event help support YAM and its mission to provide young people with opportunities to learn, play, and carry these traditions forward for generations to come.
