The Evening Music Programs are a cornerstone of Preserving Our Southern Appalachian Music (POSAM), fostering camaraderie, a sense of community, intergenerational connection, and the love for old-time and bluegrass music. Lesson Details

Session Length: 1 Month.

Session Start: New sessions begin at the start of each month.

Enrollment: Ongoing, with new students welcomed each month.

Eligibility: Open to students in 3rd grade and above, including adults.

Suitable: Those whose schedules don’t align with afternoon classes but wish to learn stringed instruments (fiddle, banjo, mandolin, or guitar) by ear.

Instrument Rental: Flat Rate of $20 Per Month if needed. Monthly fees are due at the beginning of classes.

Six Mile Evening Program

When: Tuesdays at 6PM
Where: Roper Building, 149 N Main St.

Liberty Evening Program

When: Mondays at 6PM
Where: Hilltop Wesleyan Church

Easley Evening Program

When: Tuesdays at 3:00 PM (summer months) 4:00 PM (during the school year)
Where: Easley First Baptist, 300 E 1st Ave.

Salem Evening Program

When: Thursdays at 4:45PM
Where: Eagles Nest Art Center, 4 Eagle Ln. Salem
