The YAM After School Program introduces 3rd to 5th graders to the art of playing acoustic instruments by ear. Local musicians teach students the guitar, fiddle, banjo, or mandolin in approximately 45-minute sessions each week over 20 weeks during the school year.
Timing: Classes occur right after school, one day per week, at your child’s school.
Homework Center: Available for free while students wait for lessons to begin.
Students must be picked up within 10 minutes post-lesson or will be moved to the school’s regular after-school program with associated fees.
Session Length: May vary slightly based on class size.
Instrument Rental: Flat Rate of $10 Per Month.
