The Preserving Our Southern Appalachian Music (POSAM) Board of Directors provides leadership, vision, and governance for the organization and its signature initiative, the Young Appalachian Musicians (YAM) Program. Through stewardship, strategic planning, fundraising, and community partnerships, the Board helps ensure that our mission of preserving and promoting the musical traditions of Southern Appalachia continues to grow and serve future generations. The Board meets on the first Monday of each month to guide the organization's future, support its programs, and create meaningful opportunities for hundreds of students and families across the Upstate.
